Significance of 'Ramzaan'!

On 21st of July’2012 the most ‘Sacred Month’ of the year “Ramzaan” started. This month is the most awaited month of the year by every True Muslim. It brings within itself a ‘natural purity’ which purifies the heart of every Muslim Men, it refrains him from committing any sort of Sin. We automatically find ourselves to be attached with GOD. A person makes a tight connection with ALLAH!

It began with the Pleasant Weather & a mild Shower of Rain which was no less than a sign of Blessing for mankind from GOD.

This month tells oneself to achieve: Patience & Endure our instincts of Hunger. It teaches us to be ‘Tolerant’ through all ‘Walks Of Life’. It makes us realize about the fact that there are millions of other people out there who are ‘Starving to Death’, since they are not even provided with one time of food in a day! This thing wakes up an Urge in Our Hearts to help those ‘Poor & Needy’. It creates a sense of ‘Responsibility’ among the ‘well-to-do’ persons to serve the Inferior Class who is even deprived of the Basic Necessities of Life. Thus this month also promotes to create ‘Equality’ among the ‘Poor & Rich’.

If a Person wants to become a ‘Perfect’ Muslim he must ‘Regularly’ keep Fasts in the Month of ‘Ramzaan’, because it is one of the “Pillars of Islam”. It is just as a building cannot stay upright without a base, without its Pillars, so does Islam is incomplete without the Performance of this ‘Obligatory Act’. Along with that he MUST ‘Pray’ Five times a day. He must recite ‘Holy Quran’ everyday. He MUST pay ‘Zakat’.

And above all he MUST apply the teachings of our Beloved ‘Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.)’ in his Daily Life. He must put the Teachings of ‘Holy Quran’ into practice. Last but not the least: Be sincere towards his GOD with the fear that HE is watching us, ALWAYS…

  1. Though the theme of the article is undoubtedly large and universally acclaimed, the writing seems to be an amalgam of random jot-downs.
What beautifies a blog is the 'flow' of it. A Blog approaches a topic very systematically and concludes it with a strong proclamation or statement from one's own point-of-view.

So, it is what we tell all young writers: 'READ MORE' first. Read more blogs and understand the essence of it. Maybe you started too early.

    1. I'll take the Criticism in a Positive way though. You can never attain that 'Perfection Element' at your first or even at second try. It's a gradual process, one learns from Practice and that is what I'm doing.
You can't just wait for 'that' ONE right moment when you actually become a 'Perfect Blogger' and THEN publish your blogs...
Plus it's good in a way that "I started to blog too early", it'll give me more time to Improve the Quality of my Writings!

Anyways, really appreciate your concern & feedback.
      Thank you!

But its still good Rabeea :) so keep it up (Y)

  6. Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem, wa Sall-Allahu 'alan-Nabiyyil-Ummiyil-Kareem, wa 'ala Aalihi wa As-haabihi wa Sallam.

Beautiful effort, and may Allah reward you for it with good! I'm not one to criticize, so I'm just going to suggest some improvements that would make this good read a better read.

Firstly, the Rule of any good deed including Islamic blogging is that you begin with the Name of Allah, His Praise, and sending peace and blessings upon His Beloved Messenger Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam.

A man once, after finishing his Salah, began his dua and prayed for mercy and forgiveness. The Holy Prophet Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam heard this and He ordered that man that he had been hasty, and He should have begun with Allah's Praise, and then Salutations (Durood) upon His Prophet Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam, and then asked Allah whatever he wanted.

Durood Sharif causes our deeds to be accepted in the Court of Allah - don't write 'PBUH', write 'peace and blessings upon Him' or Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam in full because whosoever blesses the Prophet Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam just once, Allah:

    -erases 10 of his sins
-writes 10 good deeds for him
    -raises him 10 spiritual ranks
-blesses him 10 times in a similar manner.

Whosoever blesses the Prophet Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam in written form, Allah blesses him as long as the Name of the Prophet Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam remains written there. So make your posts blessed with Durood Sharif!

Moving to the article itself, you should add more detail about Ramadan's significance. You touched wonderfully on fasting; however, do teach your readers how dear Fasting is in Allah's sight, and how on the first of Ramadan, Allah gazes at His creation and whomosoever He gazes at, He will never punish them. Please mention how the 1st 10th is Mercy, the 2nd 10th is Forgiveness and the 3rd 10th is freedom from Hell. Include the Tarawih and the Masjids becoming crowded, the Mehfils of Zikr, how the family is strengthened when they come together for Seher and Aftar, and most importantly, the Noble Qur'an. You only touched on it at the end, even though Ramadan is the Month of the Qur'an and It was revealed in it. Also write about how most people give Zakah in Ramadan, as well as Sadaqatul-Fitr, and how Ramadan paves the way for a Day of Happiness; Eid ul-Fitr.

Laylatul-Qadr, the Night of the Qur'an's revelation, better than a thousand months. No Ramadan blog can be complete without its mention.

Ramadan is also a Reminder of the Life of our Beloved Sall-Allahu 'AlayHi waSallam and His Companions, Allah be well-pleased with Them. The Battle of Badr, the Conquest of Makkah, the passing away of our Mother Hazrat Khadija RadhiAllahu Anha, the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali RadhiAllahu Anhu, and so many other events took place in Ramadan.

'Ramadan Pakwaan' is a good topic you could touch on; I mean come on, what kind of Pakistani Ramadan can be without pakoras and chips in Aftari? And then, for us especially, we got Pakistan in Ramadan. The REAL Independence Day is 27 Ramadan, not 14 August.

Also, include Qur'anic and Hadith-based references, or adages of the Scholars.

    Below are some links we could all learn from;

Hope that helps insha'Allah. Allahumma Salli wa Sallim wa Barik 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadin, 'Abdika wa Rasulikan-Nabiyyil-Ummiyil-Kareem. Wal-Hamdulillahi Rabbil-'Alameen.

  7. Thank you SO VERY much for taking your time out to read my blog & giving me the BEST Suggestions so far! I REALLY appreciate your concern :) I'm really inspired by your Islamic knowledge over this Topic, it's worth knowing. It's not that I didn't know about all those 'Greatest Islamic Events' which took place in Ramzaan but couldn't assemble and adjust them in the Blog.
But once again. THANK YOU SO MUCH for some 'Quality Advice'!
